North East Metro Action Group

About us: The North East Metro Action Group covers a large region, including most of Manningham, Banyule and also Nillumbik shires.

We focus on women’s rights, Indigenous youth justice, refugee and asylum seeker rights and also the death penalty. Our group organises campaigns, seminars, guest speakers and other activities.

Meeting Time: 8pm, 1st Thursday of the month

Location: Eltham Uniting Church Hall.

About us: The University of Melbourne Action Group is made up of like-minded students passionate about human rights. Throughout the year we host various special events including pub nights, film screenings, and speaker panels.

About us: We are the Victorian Network that campaigns for international LGBTIQ human rights.The network campaigns and runs events. These inspire passion, commitment and change for LGBTIQ human rights around the world.

We make appearances at Pride, Midsumma, and work on our own amazing events! If you are passionate about improving LGBTIQ rights, we would love to hear from you.

About us: Our group has a diversity of ages and cultural backgrounds. Meetings are friendly occasions where we can discuss activities and events that are important to the group, as well as Amnesty campaigns.

Brunswick Action Group

We are a group that holds a range of events to champion human rights.

The Brunswick Action Group holds letter-writing events, where we write letters for authorities to prevent human rights violations.

We also organise stalls, movie nights and more! The Brunswick Action Group meets at 10:30am on the last Saturday of each month at PepperJacks Café.
