1 - 28 February 2024

Elections will take place in March 2024.

General Member Voters (GMV) are members elected by their region to attend and vote at the Annual General Meeting, which in 2024 will be held virtually on Saturday 1 June 2024.

Instructions for completing this nomination form
  1. Ensure you have your and your nominators’ membership numbers. These are the same as the Constituent number quoted on your personalised email calling for nominations (if unsure, please call 1300 300 920 during business hours). The three of you have to be members in the same Region.
  2. Have a short biography (max 200 words) and photo ready
  3. Complete between 1 February – 28 February 2024 2.00pm AEDT
  4. Email company.secretary@amnesty.org.au if you have any queries

General Meeting Voters are expected to participate and engage in discussions and meetings in the lead-up to the AGM, attend the AGM either in person or by proxy and any Extraordinary General Meeting during their term.

All members should adhere to the Values and Behaviours Charter and the Member Undertaking.

  • To submit your nomination for election as a General Meeting Voter for your region to the 2024 Amnesty International Australia AGM, you must agree and confirm the below. Once you have submitted your nomination form, you will be sent a confirmation email, and a confirmation email will also be sent to your Nominator and Seconding Nominator in receipt of their nomination of you. The submitted form will be collected and reviewed by Amnesty International Australia to ensure that nominations are complete, correct and valid in line with our relevant policies and processes.
