Starting on Monday the 7th of November and right through till Sunday there will be a table set up with a petition box and 3 letters for signing for Amnesty’s Write for Rights Campaign 2016.
The cases include a letter asking for the pardon of Edward Snowden who will also feature in a free film being shown on Tuesday 8th at the Co-op at 7.30pm.
Two other cases include protecting Maxima Acuna from being forced off her land in Peru who is taking on one of the biggest gold and copper mines in the world, and supporting Canada’s Indigenous People to save their Ancestral lands.
