Every year in the lead up to World Human Rights Day on the 10 December, Amnesty supporters and activists from 170 countries take action – writing letters, signing petitions – telling governments to challenge injustice and right wrongs.
Since 1991 Write for Rights has transformed lives. Write for Rights will be our biggest Amnesty event for 2023 in Bendigo.
In 2022 more than 5.3 million people worldwide took action for individuals from 10 countries whose human rights were under attack. In Bendigo Write for Rights will be held in the
Bendigo Library – 1.30pm, Thursday, 2 November and
1.30pm, Thursday, 7 December.
