It’s not just Don Dale.

The Royal Commission into the Protection and Detention of Children in the Northern Territory will be handed down on Friday 17th November.
This report is based in the Northern Territory, but it’s about Australia.

Since the commission was called last year abuses against kids in ALL state and territories have been uncovered. At Banksia Hill detention centre (WA) a young girl was found soaked in her own urine after being confined to an observation facility with boys.

That’s why members of the Amnesty International Indigenous Rights Group WA will be presenting the findings of the Royal Commission to Julie Bishop MP’s office on Friday 17th November.

And we’re calling on members of the WA public to Repost the Royal Commission to their local MP too. – Because we need to get the message out there – it’s not just Don Dale, this is a national crisis.

If you’re interested in joining us outside Julie Bishop’s office, or want information on how you can send the Royal Commission to your local MP – contact us on wacommunications@amnesty.org.au
