PAX is a three-day festival offers unparalleled access to the largest audience of dedicated gamers from across the country. Amnesty Pop Culture group will have a stall and encourage Madman Anime Festival guests to sign petitions and raise awareness of the current issues and campaigns we are fighting for.
Our aim is to engage with the many thousands of individuals in attendance at Madman about the importance of our current campaigns and informed them of international human rights issues, while still appearing as a friendly and approachable group.
We believe our attendance at these types of events are beneficial to Amnesty’s cause. Overall, we hope our presence at the event will further educate the pop-culture society of what Amnesty International does as an organisation, inform them of the campaigns we are focusing on and encourage Amnesty International petition signatures in relation to these campaigns.
