Join Amnesty NSW activists, volunteers, staff and supporters for a day of relationship building, skill development and planning.

Today as in previous generations, our human rights challenges are far from small. From fighting for the dignity of refugees and asylum seekers in Australia and around the world to standing in solidarity with Indigenous communities to break the cycle of youth incarceration.

This means we need to equip ourselves with the skills, knowledge and wisdom to achieve human rights change in the long-term.

This Social Change Lab will be focused on how activists can build relationships, encourage leadership and ensure our activism takes place in a sustainable way. It is our aim to create a human rights movement that is effective and self-sustaining.

At the session you will also have the opportunity to participate in a yoga session, listen to live music from our newly formed Meaningful Music group, and speakers from Amnesty staff and other like-minded NGO’s.

Our Social Change Labs bring together 80+ activists across NSW. It is guaranteed to be full of energy, ideas and inspiration.
