On Sunday 12 August, Loosely Woven, consisting of 20 instrumentalists and singers, will bring to Avalon their brand-new concert, ‘Feeling Good’.
‘Feeling Good’ is named after the closing song made famous by numerous artists including Nina Simone, Michael Bublé and George Michael.
The rest of the program will be the usual eclectic mix including a number of songs which address social injustice and other important issues as well as a number of really well known songs.
Instruments this time will include violins, cello, flute, trumpet, saxophone, clarinet, harp, glockenspiel, guitars, melodicas, recorders, accordion, keyboard and percussion.
As usual, Avalon Amnesty and the Avalon Baptist Church will provide delicious food. Entry is free but donations to Amnesty International are welcome.
