Volunteer in Amnesty t-shirt

Activist T-Shirt Design Competition

Calling all creatives, activists, and volunteers – it’s time to showcase your talent! Our Regional Presidents are launching an exciting T-shirt Design Competition and we want YOU to help create a fresh, bold, and powerful new look for Amnesty International Australia!

The winning design will be printed on t-shirts for activists and volunteers across the country, to be worn at community events, rallies, and beyond. This is your chance to put your artistic stamp on Amnesty’s movement and contribute to our message of human rights, people power, justice, and equality!

HOW TO ENTER?
It’s simple! Just send us:

  • Your name and contact details
  • A high-resolution copy of your amazing design
  • A brief description of your connection to Amnesty
  • A statement confirming you give consent for Amnesty to use and publish the design
  • (Optional) An explanation of your design’s connection to human rights

Email your submission to qldnnswpresident@amnesty.org.au by 1 December 2024.

DESIGN THEME AND GUIDELINES:

  • Reflect the themes of human rights, people power, justice, and equality. For some more inspiration see our People Powered Strategy here
  • Include “Amnesty International” (optional: incorporate the candle logo – see brand resources here)
  • The design should not be for a specific campaign or human rights issue.
  • Keep it bold and clear for printing on black or white shirts, in one colour only
  • Let’s make sure your design looks great in person AND in photos!

WHO CAN ENTER?
This competition is open to all Amnesty activists, volunteers, and members – from school groups to seasoned campaigners. Everyone’s voice deserves to be heard, and so does your design!

HOW WILL WE CHOOSE THE WINNER?
Our Regional Presidents Forum will select five incredible finalists, and then it’s up to YOU! Members and activists will vote for the winning design in December. The design with the most votes will become the new t-shirt for Amnesty activists nationwide!
