It has been over 400 days since the devastating escalation of violence in Gaza and the Occupied Palestinian Territory, with a catastrophic toll on civilians. As of 13 October 2024, over 43,000 Palestinians have been killed, with medical journals estimating even higher figures. Over 70% of those killed are women and children. The UN reports that 85% of Gaza’s 2.3 million population have been displaced multiple times, with 96% facing severe food shortages and famine.

In January 2024, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ordered Israel to implement measures to protect Palestinians from what it identified as a real risk of genocide. This ruling has been ignored, and with each passing day, more lives are lost, and civilians are left trapped in this devastating conflict.

We cannot stand by while the death toll rises, and humanitarian access is denied.

Email your representative now to take action on:

  • Calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire to stop the bloodshed.
  • Calling for an end to Israel’s ongoing occupation of Palestine, and end Israel’s apartheid, by dismantling measures of fragmentation, segregation, discrimination, and deprivation, currently in place against the Palestinian population.
  • Condemn the recent Israeli law banning UNRWA from operating within its territories, which criminalises humanitarian aid, forces the agency’s headquarters in East Jerusalem to close, and ends visas for its staff.
  • Demand unrestricted access for humanitarian aid to reach Gaza and provide life-saving resources.
  • Support international accountability for war crimes committed by all sides and uphold the ICJ’s ruling to protect civilians.
  • Advocate for transparency in Australia’s arms exports, and for a comprehensive arms embargo on both Israel and Palestinian armed groups.
  • Calling for permanent safe protection pathways for Palestinians fleeing Gaza.

Join us in calling on your Member of Parliament to take immediate action and demand justice for the people of Gaza and Occupied Palestinian Territories. Together, we can stand for humanity, peace, and accountability.
