The Randwick Amnesty Action Group is holding a Write for Rights session over an informal dinner at Coogee Diggers.
Write for Rights is Amnesty International’s annual letter writing campaign, which happens in November and December each year, around the world. However, many local groups, like Randwick Amnesty in this case, hold Write for Rights sessions whenever it’s appropriate. We write to protest the situation of those whose human rights have been attacked. A simple action like a letter of solidarity or a letter to a government official, when sent en masse, can have a huge impact.
