A critical part of grassroots campaigning is communicating with decision-makers who can make change. Often, these people are our elected representatives and have the power to develop and reform policy through parliament.
This beginners workshop will cover advice on:
- the importance of action groups and activists engaging our local MPs
- how we can engage our local MPs from social media to a meeting
- how and why Amnesty engages MPs (especially how you and your group can help!)
- learning about your local MP
Suggested audience: Activists who are interested in advocacy and taking their activism to a new level.
