The next SA Book Club meeting will be held at the Adelaide Action Centre (corner of Gawler Place and Pirie St, next to NAB bank)
We are reading:
‘Please Look After Mother’ by Shin Kyung-sook
As it is our last meeting for the year we will have a quick discussion about books and Amnesty campaigns for next year and possible Fringe/Festival event for mid February.
Human Rights literature promotes values of human rights directly or indirectly.
It aims to transform the impact of the reading experience into a motivation for social action; the latter underpins the struggle for protections of human rights.
Happy reading!
PS. Please save Sue’s number so you can contact her to be let up to the Action Centre on the night!
